Great camera, and for that price, unbeatable. I saw second-hand ones in my country for more than this. It’s a great all-rounder. I bought it for birding because I was getting frustrated with my Canon R10 and my 75–300mm lens—especially with birds of prey, which get spooked when you’re still 50+ meters away. With the Canon R10, I just couldn’t get close enough. With this one, nothing is too far. When I bought it, I was considering spending a bit more to get the P1100, but it’s not necessary at all. It has more than enough zoom. On hot days, at 2000mm, the environment already distorts your image, so 3000mm would probably be very poor quality. It’s definitely been one of my best investments yet.
